Our mission is to empower and uplift families of children with disabilities by providing compassionate support, accessible resources, and strong advocacy. We are committed to building inclusive communities where every child and family can thrive with dignity, opportunity, and hope.
21 Strong was formed by Maurice and Marva Belton, a husband and wife team who was fueled by the constant need to fight for their child with Down Syndrome to have the same accessibility to all educational needs as every other child. They realized that while they had to fight on their own, they didn't want another family to have to go through the journey feeling alone and helpless. Their goal is to provide advocacy tools, resources, and emotional support to families in this rewarding yet never ending journey to make sure that every child is accepted and given the same opportunities as other children to succeed.
